La Mooncup est une coupe en forme de cloche, d'environ 5 cm de long faite de caoutchouc mou de silicone. Elle se porte de manière interne et scelle les parois vaginales en permettant au fluide menstruel de passer dans la Mooncup, cela sans fuites ni odeurs.

"I've been using the moon cup now for a while now. At first it was weird to use, as I have always been used to tampons and towels, (which made me have a lot of problems!). I never thought there was any alternative.
But after I got used to it, the mooncup made me feel unbelievable happy. I felt FREE!!!!!!!!! It made me feel so alive, that I did not have to worry about having a period, the one thing about being a women that we all truely hate. My period used to rule my life!!!!!! NO MORE !!!!
